Heart of England Music Hub
We are proud to share that Clifford Bridge has been recognised as a Lead School for the Heart of England Music Hub.
This is a significant achievement which celebrates our commitment to providing high quality music education and to championing music both within our school and across our community.
What is a Lead School?

Lead Schools represent the very best of music education. They:
- Place music at the heart of school life, with a strong and inclusive curriculum.
- Offer a wide range of enrichment and co-curricular opportunities for pupils.
- Show excellence in leadership and subject development, with school leaders who actively support and advocate for music.
At Clifford Bridge, this means our students benefit from a rich musical culture, thriving ensembles, high-quality lessons, and opportunities to connect their learning with the wider community.
Our Role as a Lead School
As a Lead School, Clifford Bridge will work closely with the Heart of England Music Hub and partner schools to:
- Champion excellence in music curriculum and teaching.
- Provide CPD and training opportunities for teachers across the region.
- Facilitate networking and professional collaboration to share best practice.
- Offer mentoring and peer support for schools who are developing their music provision.
- Create a resource bank and open our doors for colleagues to observe high-quality music teaching in action.
Why it Matters
Music plays a central role in inspiring creativity, building confidence, and fostering community. By serving as a Lead School, we are not only strengthening our own provision but also supporting schools across Coventry and Warwickshire to provide outstanding musical opportunities for every young person.
At Clifford Bridge, we believe music should be inclusive, ambitious, and accessible to all. Our work with the Heart of England Music Hub will help ensure that every child in our local area has the opportunity to experience the joy and power of music.
