Best Start for Life
Coventry Best Start Family Hubs
At Clifford Bridge Academy, we are committed to supporting not only our pupils but their families too. We are proud to work alongside Coventry's Best Start Family Hubs to help ensure children and families can access the support they need to thrive.
The Connected Offer
Coventry's eight Best Start Family Hubs bring together services, support and opportunities for families from pregnancy through to young adulthood. Their aim is to ensure that children, young people and families receive the right support at the right time and in the right place.
Through a connected and collaborative approach, Family Hubs work alongside schools, health services and community organisations to improve outcomes for children and young people while supporting family wellbeing, resilience, attendance, emotional health and early intervention needs.
Schools play a vital role in this connected offer. By strengthening partnerships between education, health and family services, we can create a more preventative and joined up system of support that helps children succeed both in school and beyond.
Best Start in Life and Healthy Babies Programme
The Best Start in Life and Healthy Babies Programme recognises that positive early experiences, strong family relationships and timely support during pregnancy and the early years have a lasting impact on a child's future.
The programme focuses on:
-
Early attachment and positive relationships
-
Infant health and wellbeing
-
Emotional development
-
Healthy nutrition and growth
-
Communication and language development
-
Building parental confidence from conception onwards
Through Family Hubs and partnership working, families can access support that enables babies and children to thrive physically, emotionally, socially and developmentally.
